The Katy ISD Summer Jazz Workshop is an exciting and affordable opportunity for your student to immerse themselves in the world of jazz! Throughout the camp, students will explore and perform music from jazz legends such as Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, and other iconic artists. All students will get to explore jazz through big bands, jazz combos, sectionals, masterclasses and much more. Our high school students will even get to learn their All State Music in daily masterclasses! The week will culminate in a concert, showcasing the progress and skills students have developed. With instruction from top jazz professionals from the greater Houston area, this camp promises to be a fun and enriching experience for all! Whether you are new to Jazz or an All-Stater, we are ready for you!Â
