Texas Success Iniaitive Assessment (TSIA)
MicrosoftTeams-image (8).pngThe TSI Assessment (TSIA) is part of the Texas Success Initiative program designed to help your college or university determine if you are ready for college-level course work in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics.
Exemptions:
SAT = 480 in English/writing, 530 in math
ACT = a combined score of 40 on the English and Reading (E+R) tests shall be exempt for both reading and writing or ELAR sections of the TSI Assessment. A score of 22 on the mathematics test shall be exempt for the mathematics section of the TSI Assessment. There is no composite score.
If you do not meet the exemptions, I do test seniors during the school year.
Testing Resources
SAT & AP practice tests and other study resources are offered through Khan Academy. They have both a website and an app that you can download. They also offer other subject study guides if you need help in your core subjects! FREE!
