I am so excited for this year!

Welcome to first grade!

My name is Caitlin Griffin. This is my first year as a Franz Firebird, but my 3rd year teaching first grade! I am so excited to have your child in my class this year! I can't wait to watch them grow & blossom into learners! I was born in Baytown, but spent majority of my childhood growing up in Andrews, TX. I have one little (big) brother. I went to college at the University of Texas- Permian Basin, where I received my degree in Multidisciplinary Studies. I love sports, especially baseball. Go Astros! If I am not at work I am probably watching some type of game with my family. I also love music, so I always am looking for record stores to browse for records to bring home!
