Rachelle Isaacson, a wife and mother to four children, is in her sixteenth year as a music educator and 12th year as band director at Cinco Ranch Junior High in Katy, Texas. She received a Bachelors of Music Education at Baylor University where she was drum major of the marching band. In 2008, she was awarded the Outstanding Music Educator Award from the School of Music.

Bands under Mrs. Isaacson’s direction consistently receive recognition and accolades from festivals and UIL competitions. She recently served on the Texas UIL Sight Reading Committee and is an active adjudicator and clinician around the state. 

Mrs. Isaacson is known for her high energy and joyful spirit in and out of the classroom. In 2021, she was honored by being named the Katy ISD Secondary District Teacher of the Year. Her time teaching music and mentoring her students has been among the most enjoyable experiences of her career.

Lisa James is in her 17th year of teaching band, and her 8th year at CRJH. She is the woodwind specialist on staff, and her primary instrument is oboe. She holds a Bachelor of usic Education from Bylor University (Sic'em, Bears!) and a Master of Music Education from the University of Cincinnati- CCM. 

Mrs. James loves band and loves teaching Junior High! CRJH is such a joyful plae to be, and she is so thankful to get to work alongside her colleagues each day and get to work with the best students and parents in the world. 

Married for almost 16 years to her husband Joel, Mrs. James and her husnband have three amazing dauhters ages 8, 6, and 3.

• FYB Trombone, Euphonium, and Tuba

Cole Blount is from San Antonio, Texas, a graduate of New Braunfels High School and Texas Lutheran University, where he earned his degree in Music Education. 

He has performed with the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps until his age out in 2022, and stays active with teaching marching band to this day. 

Mr. Blount joined the Cinco Ranch Junior High Band in 2023, and he currently resides in Cinco Ranch, where he spends his free time running, hiking, and shooting film photography.
