Our department conducts scientific research in different areas of modern IT, teaching staff and students take part in international scientific conferences, have a lot of publications in SCOPUS editions and other editions with high impact factor, participate in solving the key problems in the IT area.

The majority of teaching staff members are also members of organizational and programme committees of international conferences. This year ICTERI conference (http://icteri.org/) was held on the base of our university and our department.

Each year the students’ international conference devoted to the annual days of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science with the section “Information Technology” takes place.
