2 Systems for Ratings and Recommendations
RealRating™: Designed for previous clients, you can ask them to rate you according to a list of skills. The average rating will appear next to your name on your profile.
Personal recommendations: Designed for anyone in your sphere of influence. They can write a few sentences about you.
Ratings and recommendations help you build your online recommendation. Optimize it with SEO terms and you can boost your search engine ranking.
Access your Dashboard
Go to dashboard.realtor.com or click on the Login button on the homepage.
Login at the real estate professional Pro Log In button.
Note: You can’t set up a Pro account with your branded email if you already have a consumer account, but can use any other email address to set up your Pro account.
Create an Impactful Profile
General profile tips:
Select a good header image that represents the most popular types of real estate in your area to encourage people to click through to you. This will help you target people who are relocating to your market from somewhere else, and who don’t have a REALTOR picked out.
The camera icon tells you what size works best for the photo.
Make sure MLS info is correct, especially your agent ID. Realtor.com ties any listings you have on the MLS to your account. The consumer will see an interactive map of all of your listings.
Adding your NAR number will pull in your NAR certifications and designations which will show up next to your name in the "Find a Realtor Rolodex".
Add your broker and office information
Make sure the office represented in your info is your primary office.
Add state licenses.
Add social media information (Facebook, Twitter, and blogs).
Create a wish list of things you want to add to the initial page to stand out, including social media profiles, blogs, etc. Then make sure there are links on your profile page. This makes it easier for people and search engines to find you.
Optimize your About Me section
Include the information you want consumers to see.
Use your business email address.
Keep your contact information up-to-date.
Add your specialties. Take time to think about the keywords you want. Think of unique specialties specific to your market. Look at trends.google.com to see what keywords are trending on Google. Tailor the search to that area and see what people are searching for.
Add the areas and zip codes you serve. Try to put in as many as possible.
Add your personal website and video URL.
Add your slogan.
Add your bio. Never copy/paste sections from the top of the profile into your bio section as the search engine will think it is duplicate content and penalize you. Instead, use keywords and build paragraphs around the keywords you used in the top section of your profile.
Consider listing hobbies, personal interests, other places you’ve lived, etc.
Show your expertise with designations & certification badges. List certifications earned through NAR and the definition of what it is.
List languages you speak or someone on your team can speak.
Add Recommendations, Ratings, & Reviews
When you ask people to recommend you, you'll get a notification to approve it.
You can also upload/import a review. It's important to ask for reviews from your clients at the closing table.
When you send a request, the person will be sent specific questions about their experience working with you. (This is specific to clients you’ve worked with in the past.)
The Team Profile Section
The primary team member creates a team profile and fills in all the details of the team.
They can then link to the profiles of other agents on the team.
View your Completed Profile
Click the option in the top menu bar of the screen. This will open a consumer view of your profile in your browser window.
Copy the URL of your profile so you can add it to social media or any other advertising you are using.
