The STRIVE program is designed to equip students, recent graduates, and career changers with the essential skills, training, and resources needed to secure internships and job opportunities. Through resume reviews, mock interviews, hands-on training, cutting-edge technology webinars, and exclusive internship/job postings, participants will gain a competitive edge in the job market. Additionally, networking events and career fairs will provide direct access to industry professionals, fostering valuable connections for career growth and long-term success.
Enhance Career Readiness – Provide comprehensive training, resume reviews, and mock interviews to equip participants with the skills needed to secure internships and job opportunities.
Bridge the Gap Between Talent & Industry – Offer cutting-edge technology webinars, networking events, and career fairs to connect participants with industry professionals and potential employers.
Facilitate Job & Internship Placement – Share exclusive internship and job postings while guiding participants through the application process to maximize their chances of success
Phase 1: Survey & Demand Analysis (by March 15th)
Google Survey Distribution: Collect feedback from members to understand their needs and areas of interest (e.g., specific industries, career goals, skillsets).
Analyze Demand: Use survey data to identify key areas of focus for the program (e.g., resume reviews, mock interviews, certifications).
Phase 2: Resume Review & Feedback Week (by May 15th)
Resume Review Sessions: Schedule one-on-one sessions for detailed feedback based on individual needs.
Group Feedback: Provide generalized feedback to the group on common resume issues or improvements.
Phase 3: Mock Interview Sessions (by July 30th)
Custom Sessions Based on Demand: Tailor mock interviews to the specific areas and industries identified in the survey (e.g., tech, marketing, finance).
Feedback and Skill Refinement: Provide detailed feedback on performance, including areas for improvement and confidence-building tips.
Phase 4: Career Fair & Networking (by August 30th)
University Collaboration: Organize a career fair in partnership with a university, inviting companies and organizations across various industries.
Networking Opportunities: Provide opportunities for participants to connect directly with employers, recruiters, and industry professionals.
Phase 5: Certification Support (Ongoing)
Certification Resources: Offer support for high-demand certifications, including study resources, guidance on the certification process, and recommendations on certifications based on industry needs and trends.
Workshops/Study Groups: Set up workshops or study groups for those pursuing certifications to ensure participants are well-prepared.
Phase 6: Continuous Internship & Job Opportunity Postings (Ongoing)
Internship & Job Postings: Regularly update and share internship and job opportunities with participants through KANJ website.
Application Assistance: Provide guidance on applying for positions, tailoring resumes, preparing cover letters and networking – helping participants connect with professionals who work at the same companies or same industry
This structure allows you to focus on immediate needs (resume reviews and mock interviews) while also building longer-term opportunities through career fairs, networking, and certification support.

Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for participants, instructors, and partners.

Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate sessions (e.g., resume reviews, mock interviews, webinars), career fairs, and networking events.
