Crack the addition code
Adding numbers is a fundamental mathematical concept, essential to solve simple problems in our day to day life. Addition is when you put together two or more numbers to find the total amount. The result of adding two or more numbers is called the sum. Learning about addition will help our learners master the relationships between numbers and quantities. To make learning exciting and to have a good grasp to add things together we created activities with real objects and everything was a hands-on experience with objects before we transition into numerical representations. Our learners were eager to learn about addition as it made them feel like big kids!

English
Learning to blend words
Blending is a crucial skill in learning to read and write as this will help our learners to join speech sounds together to make words and to decode unfamiliar words using letter-sound patterns. Consonant integration occurs when two or more consonants are combined together, but each sound can be heard in a combination. The most common consonant combinations include: bl, cl, gl, pl. To make the learning journey enjoyable and add a pinch of fun and excitement we created our very own 'Mc Blends and fries' activity for our learners that will help them read the sounds out loud faster to gain proficiency in a fun way.

Oh! Volcano!
Experiments are a wonderful way to nurture children’s curiosity. In our K2 class we create opportunities for children to explore the world around them by observing experimenting and predicting what will happen next. Experiments help our learners to learn about different concept as well as enhance their critical thinking and problem solving skills. Volcano science experiment is an interesting part of earth landforms that our learners really love. By making a classic baking soda and vinegar volcano our classroom buzzed with excitement when they got to witness a volcano erupt right before their eyes!
How thrilling this experiment is.....
It was fun assuming how lava comes out of Mountain.
Horticulture
Colorful flowers with okra printing
A vegetable is part of a plant that is edible and packed with nutrients. One of the most favourite vegetables among our learners was lady finger or okra. Learners observed that lady fingers are green in colour, long and tube-shaped. Inside the pod there are many white coloured round shaped edible seeds. The plant can grow up to six feet in height. Learners also discussed the importance of eating green vegetables for healthy sense organs and happy life. They created lovely floral prints by using okra slices to stamp flower shapes on paper. Stamping art helps young learners to develop gross and fine motor skills and to practice hand-eye coordination and bilateral skills. This activity encouraged our little ones to appreciate nature for providing us with so many valuable things.
Imprinting and observing is fantastic
Fun with ladyfingers.
Children's Council
Energy & Power Ministry
Children's council truly gives learners an opportunity to foster skills like leadership, communication, teamwork, organization and public speaking. It emphasizes a sense of community amongst children and teaches skills of commitment & good citizenship. Being involved in the school council can help young learners to understand the world from their perspective. During their Energy and Power Ministry session, our learners played the role of energy detectives. Wherein the learners were encouraged to tag the things around in the school that consume energy & power. Learners had great fun while detecting the things in the school which consume energy & power.
