Torch light on the letter Ff!
Letter Ff was introduced in the Nursery class. As a part of the sound and letter recognition activity, learners were encouraged to participate in an activity where they tried to find the letter Ff using a white paper which was used as a torch to look for the upper and lower case Ff as well as the objects that begin with the same. All the learners participated with great zeal and were able to recognize the sound and letter in a correct manner!

Counting leaves
A fun theme-related counting activity was set up in the class. Learners were encouraged to count the numbers from 1 to 6. They represented the numbers by keeping the correct number of leaves on the cut of a pumpkin. This activity helps them to comprehend the numbers and also develop their knowledge about number counting.

Which geometric shape is the strongest?
Square, Rectangular, Triangular or Circular?
The rectangular or square column has four weak points (corner edge), but the circular is in the shape of a cylinder, so there are no weak points. The circular column is strong in compression compared to the square column in the same cross-sectional area. The teacher demonstrated the different geometrical shape pillars in front of the learners and learners were asked to pile up books on the pillar and check which geometrical shape pillar holds the most number of books. Learners then concluded by observing that a circular-shaped pillar is the strongest as all other pillars were witnessed to be weak and could not hold the weight of the books that were piled up.
It seems the circular pillar is the strongest!!
