Hunt & Peg the letter
Pairing activities are important for learners as they help them to classify and teach patterns. The act of putting two things together into a pair is called pairing. These sensorial pairing activities are purposeful, developmental, and scientific. These activities boost the learner's five senses, enabling them to learn better. One of the key advantages of letter-pairing activities is their ability to reinforce letter recognition through repetition and practice. Learners benefit from repeated exposure to letters in various contexts, which helps solidify their understanding. Here our K1 learners were engrossed in the letter hunt and peg activity wherein the learner will hunt an uppercase letter, pair it with its lowercase letter and peg it to the ribbon together. This made the learning fun & joyful.
Math
I can represent numbers with my drawing
Draw the value is an activity wherein the learner recognizes the given number and draws same number of objects to represent the given number. The value refers to the worth of each number. Number representation activities build learner's understanding of early math concepts, such as counting and comparing numbers. It also enhances their sense of numbers and quantity and helps in cognitive development. Here our learners were keen in drawing the objects of their choice to represent the given numbers.

Colour Spinner
Colour spinner activity for learners is a fun activity that combines learning and play. It is a great way to teach kids about the primary colours and secondary colours. This activity helps learners to understand how two primary colours blend together to form a secondary colour. K1 learners made their own colour spinner using two primary colours and identified the secondary colour formed when the colour wheel spinned. They created a holder for the spinner using paper straw.
