Student Details

Students who reside in Allegan County, Berrien County, Calhoun County, Kalamazoo County, or Van Buren County (as seen above) are eligible to compete in this fair. See the Registration and Form pages to join.

Students who live in Michigan, but do not live in an area of Michigan with an ISEF-affiliated fair (Flint SEF, SEF of Metro Detroit), can contact the fair director, Ms. Joyce (rebecca.joyce@kamsc.org), to inquire about joining the fair.

Exhibition Category (Projects not judged for competition)

We would love to have you exhibit a project at the fair. Students can enter a project at SMSEF in the exhibition category which will not be judged for ISEF qualification. These projects do not have to abide by all ISEF rules, such as the team limit of 3 students. This allows students to learn about the science fair process, practice presenting, and network with fellow presenters.
