Explore the field of engineering with this website.  The website includes a video (2:07) and video transcript, a discussion guide, a classroom lesson plan, and links to related activities. This site is geared towards promoting women in different careers.

Suggested Classroom Use: Ask students to complete the discussion guide after viewing the video, or use this classroom lesson plan.  This could be a low-prep sub-plan.

In this short video (6:22), meet three civil engineers and learn about the different ways they apply their skills.  They drill tunnels, clean drinking water, and design hurricane-proof stadiums.

Suggested classroom use: Students can research civil engineering using this graphic organizer.
