The Covid pandemic has reawakened awareness in Singapore about the flora and fauna that exist here as well as foraging opportunities .Foraging (Meramu dan berkarang ) is a tradition of the Malays in Singapore which is almost lost in our urban environment:

This art work is inspired by Aboriginal arts through the usage of dots. Shades of blues and greens are the dominant colours to reflect Nature. The shoots are inspired by bamboo shoots/pucuk rebung symbolising growth and awakening. The dots represent abundance - bountiful Nature.
