Membership Dues for the 26/27 season
KJSO: $350 for first student, $250 for each additional sibling
Prep Strings: $230 for first student, $150 for each additional sibling
Prep Winds: $125 for first student, $75 for each additional sibling
You will receive an invoice for your membership dues.
On average, your dues payment covers each hour of instruction for about $3.50—which is about 10% of the cost of participation and 7% for siblings, a value made possible through generous community support. The other 90% is made up through local grants, individual donations, and ongoing fundraising efforts. We are committed to keeping participation costs low so that all students have access to exceptional orchestral training regardless of financial circumstances.
If your family has the means and would like to support our mission further, we invite you to consider paying the full cost of participation: simply add a zero to your dues amount (e.g., $350 becomes $3,500). Your generosity helps make music education accessible for all.
