Mission of the Border Region Talent Pipeline
The Border Region Talent Pipeline Collaborative is a team of education, workforce, economic development and industry stakeholders committed to increasing access to high-wage, high-demand careers for diverse and underrepresented local talent in San Diego and Imperial Counties.
Through collaboration and collective action, we will optimize opportunities for all students to transform their lives through increased early college credit opportunities, education with intentional student supports, and paid internships. We will leverage multiple partnerships to strengthen pathways to build a representative talent pipeline in business, tech (computing & engineering), health and education sectors.

Implement CCGI
Curriculum development and alignment with equity-minded teaching practices and WBL embedded
Increase A-G and Early College Credit opportunities
Improve or increase Student Supports and Advising for underrepresented student groups
Community Colleges
Funding for sector and program improvement (CE programs leveraged through SWP)
