TEFAP

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

TEFAP is a USDA program that provides food to agencies free of charge to distribute to income-eligible clients on a monthly basis, with reporting and monitoring to Feed More. Food that is distributed through TEFAP includes canned fruits and vegetables, dry beans, rice, pasta, and other grains, and occasional meat and dairy. Clients in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) are automatically qualified to participate in this program.
