Hope (Lottery) Scholarship

To qualify for HOPE, you must have a 3.0 final GPA or a 21 on the ACT.

To apply, submit the FAFSA.

At the end of the school year, Mr. Martin will verify your eligibility with the state.

Amounts

  • Worth up to $1,500 per semester (fall, spring, summer) for Freshman and Sophomore years at an eligible two-year college.
  • Worth up to $1,750 per semester (fall, spring, summer) for Freshman and Sophomore years at an eligible four-year college/university.
  • The award increases up to $2,250 per semester (fall, spring, summer) for the Junior and Seniors years.
  • To keep the HOPE Scholarship:
  • The student must have a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA at the end of the semester in which the student attempted 24 and 48 semester hours.
  • The student must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at the end of the semester in which the student attempted 72 and 96 semester hours.

Supplements for Hope (Lottery) Scholarship

General Assembly Merit Scholarship- $500/semester, supplements HOPE (Lottery) Scholarship

    • Must have a 3.75 final high school GPA and 29 ACT composite

Aspire Award - $750/semester, supplements HOPE (Lottery) Scholarship

    • Must have 3.0 final high School GPA and 21 ACT composite

Hope Access Grant- $1250/semester

    • Must have 2.75 final high school GPA and 18-20 ACT composite

Non-Traditional Lottery Scholarship- $2000/semester

    • Must be 25 years old or older
