After you file FAFSA, check your email for a Student Aid Report (SAR) in about 4 to 6 weeks. It will contain your Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) for the colleges you listed. This information will be sent to the colleges you listed. They will determine your financial aid package and send you an award letter.
