Vision and Mission

The Kokomo High School STEM Academy focuses on interdisciplinary curriculum that embeds 21st century skills by bringing real-world problems into the classroom for the students to solve. The academics connect problems from the classroom to their community or career. The students apply collaboration, creativity, critical thinking to solve the problem while communicating the information to an authentic audience.

The vision for STEM at Kokomo High School is for our students to not only graduate from high school, but also for our students to gain post-secondary readiness. When students graduate and leave Kokomo High School, we hope to have not only prepared them for college or trade school, but to have empowered them to be productive contributors to their community.
