Right now my siblings and I are running from a baker and his wife. We thought we could trust them but they were wanting to get rid of my younger brother Benny!! Now were heading to a place we don't even know about. Oh finally we found some water near a house. We need to find shelter and food.

Right now I'm heading to Grand Rapids in hope of finding who I suspect is my father. Oh no I'm hiding behind a bush on the side of the road and I think someone can see me. I don't want to get caught, that's the last thing I need to happen to me. I mean I already lost my chance to get on a train with my best friend to Chicago. And now I'm looking for a complete stranger that I think is my DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I'm behind a bush and I think someone has spotted me. It's weird the guy must be very observant because everyone else that has passed by with their cars haven't noticed me at all. And he's offering me food should I take it?Well I'm really hungry so I better take it but ask politely to just set it down on the ground near me. I think he should get on his way I don't want him to just stay here.

Right now I'm in Mr. Lewis's daughters house I'm pretending to be asleep.I think they're buying it. But the two of them keep talking about me and my stick legs. I should just wake up now. Oh she's waking me up! GTG they have breakfast for me.

At the moment Mr Lewis and I are driving to my dads house. All I want to do is go to sleep but Mr Lewis just keeps asking me questions. UH OH there's a cop behind us!

So we now arrived to my dads place and I'm really nervous. The only thing is, is that Mr. Lewis wants to walk me to the door. But if he does he'll know I was lying.

So now were back at Herman E Calloways house and I half to sleep in this girls bedroom. I am sure she's dead, quiet sure. Oh, and there's sheets on the bed. I never slept under the sheets before.

Ugh, my little sister Jessie is in the same homeroom as I and she's 2 years younger than me! Why does she have to be so smart? Plus she's best friends with my crush Meghan M. And it's Valentine's month my least favorite, the class has to make valentines boxes, what's the point? At least we still have poetry time my favorite time of the day, other than recess.

I'm on my way to go to the demons land to see my dad. I'm excited I haven't seen my dad my whole life he had to go to the demons land before I was born. I've lived with my grandmother and my mother my whole life and now I'm 9 but in the demons country I'm 8.

I've now met my dad, it was exciting. Were now walking to where people like us are. But here in the demons land it's really bland. There's no bright colors like back where we will.

Speaking of my little sister Jessie she does the 4-0 school newspaper every month and she still has no clue what to write about for it. And can you believe that she thinks recess is a waste of school time she rather learn! Plus how dare she not like poetry time she thinks it means nothing and that it doesn't mean what it's saying.

We just came in from recess and we all noticed that there were candy hearts in all of our valentines boxes. The weird thing is they all said specific things on them for example GREAT VOICE, BEST LUNCH, MATH GENIUS, BEAUTIFUL HAIR and ect. We all thought Mrs. Overton gave them to all of us as a prank. When we opened the candy up Mrs. Overton wasn't in the room at the time she was in the copy room copying some papers.

I just got home from basketball practice my mom asked me how my dad was and I said it was good then I headed up to my room with a banana. I had to put a sign up on my door because in our house we don't have locks on our doors so we have to put a sign up so everyone in the house knows that you can't come it. I didn't have to use it until this year because now my sister is in my class so I see her twice as much now so I need privacy and time alone.

I just thought of a time, it was about I think 10 months ago. My dad and I were in our carriage when we saw a demon with his carriage broke down. My dad offered to help even though he had never fixed a carriage before. Somehow it fixed right when my dad was done, the man Mr. Alger was about to pull a tip out of his coat, but then my dad said no tip. Then he gave us a card and said I could use men like you.

Ugh Jessie keeps bothering me at my door you would think if you put the sign up then she would know not to disturb or interrupt me. I told her I'm busy and she still won't go away. Right now I'm making a poem, I'm using sticky notes to write words down and then arrange them how I want them to be.
