Meet Your Counselors!

Hi all! I am so excited to be a part of the Woodbrook community for my third year as a school counselor! I grew up the Hampton Roads area, attended VCU for my Bachelors, and completed my Masters in School Counseling at UVA. 

Prior to moving to Charlottesville, my husband and I lived in Philly for seven years (Go Birds & Phillies!). Since moving to Charlottesville four years ago, I’ve enjoyed all the beautiful nature and serenity it has to offer. During my free time, you can find me at the park walking our 7lb dog Riley, baking treats, and spending time with my family.

Hello everyone! I am so excited to join the team here at Woodbrook Elementary! I am originally from Orlando, Florida, so I am getting used to the colder Virginia weather! I earned dual-degrees from the University of Florida in Psychology and Education Sciences along with a minor in Spanish. I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for my Master’s in School Counseling. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, baking, and being outside with my dog, Annie. Can’t wait for an amazing year with the students and faculty at Woodbrook Elementary!
