Classroom Counseling

We visit the classrooms every week for Core Curriculum lessons.  Lessons are driven by the VA Standards for School Counselors and follow a pacing guide informed by ACPS counselors and the Responsive Classroom CARES traits. Ms. Payne will cover the CARES traits and the Spot series and Mrs. Kreger will cover the Zones of Regulation.  Classroom lessons will never require students to reveal personal information and are intended to be community building activites.
