How to perform a hard reset

1. Power off your Dell PC

2. Disconnect the AC adapter or power cord.

3. Disconnect all external devices or peripherals like USB drives, printer cables, and media cards (SD/xD).

4. Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to drain residual power.

5. Connect the AC adapter or power cord and the battery (for Dell laptop PCs).

6. Then, press the power button momentarily to power on the machine.

7. Wait for the Dell sign (power button and light on right side of machine will remain lit).

Zoom or other web applications not loading properly? Update your web browser.

1. Go to the 3 dots in your Chrome Browser.

2. Go to Help and follow the arrow to “About Chrome”

3. Once you go to that page, Chrome should automatically update.

4. It will prompt you to RELAUNCH! Do it!
