Attendance Expectations for 2020-2021 School Year

• All students will attend all of their daily scheduled synchronous (live) zoom meetings with teachers, Monday through Friday.

• Elementary students who are in-person will attend school daily Monday through Thursday, and participate via zoom on Fridays.

• In-person middle and high school students will attend school on their scheduled days (Mon/Wed for Charlottesville City, Tues/Thurs for all other districts), and participate via zoom on Fridays

• If a student has a planned absence or is ill, a parent is required to call the school to inform us of their absence.

• If your child has technology difficulties that prevent them from participating in synchronous or asynchronous learning, please contact your child’s teacher as soon as possible.

**As a reminder, any student who has perfect or good attendance (has missed only 1 day per month) will receive a Cane's Chicken certificate for a free kid's combo meal. Students who demonstrate most improved attendance receive gift cards to Panera, Subway, Amazon, and more!**
