Our February and March Book of the Month is Stuck by Oliver Jeffers. In this book, children will learn about solving problems as they explore the specific problem of one little boy and his kite that gets stuck in a tree. While he is solving his problem he shows perseverance and a good sense of humor! We’ll also discover that sometimes there are solutions to problems that end up causing a another problem.

Perseverance is our theme to accompany the book and we will be discussing ways we can show perseverance in our everyday life as well as problem solving. You can check out the website for activities and talking points as well as some examples of activities we’ve done with our previous books of the month.
