TO RELIEVE STRESS:
Have a warm drink (tea, cocoa, etc.)
Remember to drink water! Take care of yourself. :)
Watch a favorite show or favorite movie.
Watch a cute animal video.
listen to music
draw/doodle
Take a walk.
Go for a drive.
Talk with your friends (text, video chat.)
Write a list of positive things in your life.
Make a list of people you love and people who love you.
Perform a random act of kindness (a smile, a phone call, a chore, a favor for a neighbor.)
Compliment someone.
Dance and sing! (It releases stress!)
Work out.
Read a book (educational or fictional.)
Learn something new (ex: a new language, crafts, knitting.)
TO INCREASE MOTIVATION:
Start your day with a to-do list of what you want to accomplish.
Make your bed.
Keep your room tidy.
Log off of social media for the day until you accomplish your tasks.
Limit procrastination by trying these 7 techniques:
Break big tasks into smaller sections, and take things one step at a time.
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes!
Be mindful of your feelings, and understand that anxiety is normal.
Create good habits by recognizing your patterns and when you work best.
Get plenty of rest.
Do homework or other tasks with friends; having a buddy holds you accountable.
Reward yourself for each small task.
End your day with reflecting on/writing about how you felt that day.
Don’t compare yourself to other people because we all have different paths and passions.
Affirmations: reflect on your positive attributes every day, and know that you are enough!
