This year PTO did a Penny War at the High School! The participation from the students was great and we look forward to doing it again in the future! 

What is a penny war? 

We split students into teams by grade levels. The object is to have the most pennys in your bucket by the end of the challenge. BUT if an opposing grade was to drop anything other than penny's into your bucket, that affects you negatively. 1 penny = 1 point, but 1 nickel = -5 points. 

What did the students get from this? 

The students won the privilege to pie their principal, Mr. Frey, in the face! (The time for this event is TBD.) They also won a secret prize as well! This prize is a hot cocoa bar!
