February 5- February 9 ARCHERY WEEK ! 

Monday – introduction and safety instruction and workout/warm up was 2 laps warm up 

Tuesday - workout – 20 squats 20 jumping jacks 20 lunges total and 20 jumping jacks 

Wednesday - core - 20 v ups, 20 russian twists, 30 sec elbow plank, 20 bicycle crunches, 20 regular crunches 

Thursday - introduction to animal targets 

Friday - last day of archery! workout -- 12 hand release push ups, 15 bench push ups, and 50 partner plank push ups taps 



Week 5 Semester 2

February 12 PICKLEBALL ! 

Instruction on underhand serving over the net 

Red line rule and out of bounds lines reviewed 

Offense and defense conversation for net games 

Class was focused on learning and practicing serving 

February 13 Pickleball 

Review of out serving and out of bounds 

Instruction on the Double bounce rule 

Red line rule only applies to a serve 

Scoring explained – not like modern volleyball (you can only get a point when you start the serve and win it) If you do not win it, the score is no points for anyone but other team gets the ball) 

Class – practiced serving, then practiced bounce hits, and last practiced a mini match keeping track of score correctly and watching the lines 


February 14 Pickleball 

Workout — 22 squats, 22 lunges, 22 side lunges total 

Started a competition of 2 vs. 2 teams and rotating to play everyone 


February 15 Pickleball 

Workout — 22 v ups, 22 russian twists, 22 bicycle crunches, 22 regular crunches, 30 sec plank, and 30 sec superman hold 

Continue our 2vs. 2 competition 

February 16 

Workout CARDIO 

5 min non stop movement cardio — butt kicks, high knees, side shuffle, walk, jog, sprint, jumping jacks, front to back jumps, side to side jumps, criss cross jumps ..etc. 

End of pickleball tournaments!

Workout today- upper body! 

Introduction to NITROBALL 

February 21

 Workout today- Core! 

Review out of bounds lines and serve line 

Explanation of how to keep track of score and organizing players into a rotation and how to cover the whole court rotating around the court every time a team gets the ball to serve 

Review of allowing ball to bounce before a hit and 3 hits per side to get ball over 

Played some matches practicing keeping track of score and getting rallies going


February 22 

Workout Today - Lower Body!

Workout - legs - every line 3 squats which was 42 squats then into 32 walking lunges and then from side line to side line each line 15 calf raises which was about 105 then 15 good mornings

Butt kicks, walk, jog, sprint, bunny hops, broad jumps, jumping jacks, high knees, front to back jumps, side to side jumps, skips, criss cross jumps, side shuffle, karaoke, backwards jog…etc.

1st period - keep away and turn and add 

2nd period – partner 50 sit ups high fives, 100 bicycles tag feet in middle, and 16 partner feet circles 

3-5th period - 30 sec. Flutter kicks, 30 sec. Scissor kicks, 5 push ups, butt kicks, high knees, shuffles, leg kicks, and 3 min walk, jog, sprints. 

7th-8th period - partner 50 sit ups high fives, 100 bicycles tag feet in middle, and 16 partner feet circles

Stretching, then into Bear salmon mosquito.  If you get tagged- 10 crunches. Workout - Lions Vs. Tigers. Push ups 12-10-8-6-4-2 

 then into Jump rope 1 min each - regular jumps, right leg, left  leg, backwards, criss cross, skipping 

April 19 and April 22

Workout - running laps- sprints, high knees, butt kicks, side shuffles, etc… and then stop and performing squats – 10-15-20s as reps total was always 60 plus squats 

All other periods 1-5th voted on Just dance or soccer as this week Ms. High bear was here to teach us Native American dance 

7th and 8th period with Ms. High Bear and their workout was core that other classes did Monday 


May2 Many 7th and 8th grade students are gone for band today and results in smaller classes  


May3 - JUST DANCE - ALL CLASSES - did dances together and a few just dances. 










Week 7 Quarter 4 Semester 2

Workout- we did the sit up fitness testing. 

We spoke and learned some basic rules of softball and started playing and applying rules.

Afterwards, we played softball 


May9 -with Martian today in New Gym 

Workout – tag games 

1st period frisbee with Martian’s class and ready for the grad walk through 

2nd period - softball 

3rd/4th/5th period- team 3 step dodgeball after quick general warm up 

7-8th period - 7th period did cardio day and 8th period did corner team tag 1 min each - 1 pt per person tagged. Then, played softball. Everyone batted  before switching.
