Builders Vs. Destroyers.
Two teams
One side of court is all cones standing up and is the builders side and the other side is all cones knocked down and are called the destroyers
The goal is to go into enemy territory and destroyers knock over builder cones and builders set up destroyer cones. First side with all cones switched to destroyer or builder wins
You can be tagged in enemy territory and go to jail and can be saved by a teammate if they get through enemy territory and tag you before getting tagged. Once safe you both walk back to other side and cannot touch cones
Once tagged you cannot touch cones as you walk to jail
If you are saving someone in jail you can only save one and can touch cones as you run across the territory but once you tag teammate in jail you cannot touch anymore cones as you both walk safely back.
You cannot touch cones on your side in your territory.

Today we played a new game~!
New game- Perimeter Dodgeball!
Everyone is alone in this game. No teams. Regular Dodgeball Rules apply. When you are out, you go to the out of bounds area which is the perimeter of the basketball court. From there, you can get back in by tagging someone who gets too close or throwing a ball at them from the out of bounds area and hitting them. If you tag or hit them with the ball, you switch places with them and are back in the game. In the game, when you are in you can only take 3 steps and then you have to dribble it with your feet or throw it. You can go anywhere around the perimeter when you are out and if you try to get a ball you can reach for them as long as both feet are behind the out of bounds line.
Before starting each round, you did a hold of some sort, then GO!. GAME ON.
Week 3 Quarter 4 Semester 2
April 8
Workout - 60 squats and 60 lunges
Some classes chose lions vs. tigers doing 18-15-12-9-6-3 reps
Other classes just did the amount together as a class
Some classes chose workout of 120 squats together with partner where one runs and other squats and they change each time til 120 then lunge together down and back twice
Kickball continued today - NO PITCH kickball
No pitch means no pitcher. Ball is set on the blue mat for a kick (like Tball). The kicker kicks the ball and must run to the bases. To get the kicker out, you have to catch the ball or get the ball back to home base. If any runner is off a base when the ball is put back on home plate, they are all out. If the ball is caught only the kicker that kicked it is out.
Then, add another ball. There are 2 balls that will be kicked by 2 different kickers at the same time. They run and both balls have to be back on home plate to stop the runners.
Then, last adding in that fielders can now get runners out by taking the risk and tagging them out keeping in mind all runners can run until the ball is set back on home plate.
April 9
Workout “Spider’s Web”
Teams of 3-4 people
One is running at a time an tags next person
Once a blue card is drawn randomly, everyone stuck in the court running stops and does a workout and resumes running
Don’t get caught in the web!
KICKBALL NO PITCH 4 BALL
-For this game, we can add up to 3-5 kickballs depending on class size
There are as many kickers as kickballs that kick and run at same time. They have to run all bases and before the fielding team gets all the kickballs back to home plate(blue box) before they get to home plate.
Everyone kicks once and only runs count when runner makes it back before the balls are back in the blue box
Once everyone kicks the teams switch
No outs just runs that do not count
Kind of like golden child
Also can be played where each ball has to go to each base to stop runners and or use 5 balls where the 5th ball is a dodgeball and the other 4 have to be returned to the home base or bases.

Practice serving first
When done serving for practice play “Let’s go Fishing” one server starts on each side and all teammates are opposite of each other. You serve over the net and teammates try to catch it. Once they catch it, they go help serve to get more people in. Once all people are back in, that team wins.

3rd period - Sink the ship dodgeball- no prisoners. Everyone stayed on the ship and only threw at the other ships. Once the ship sank they absorbed all prisoners. Went until one ship was left. Scooters collected balls and brought them back to ship. Made the court smaller as ships sank. AFTER, then played 4 corner dodgeball trench ball until one team was left –dead zone became free zone and can get deadzone prisoners from other teams added to their team. People left in the dead zone go back to their own team unless their team is dead too then they can be saved by anyone.
7th period - perimeter dodgeball for a few rounds and after that 4 corner dodgeball like 3rd period
2nd period - hula hut dodgeball (2 huts and can put them back up but if the other goes down before back up then the game is over) If the ball is caught they can go around the side to get a better angle. Also dodgeball rules and go to the trench if out. After a few rounds, allowed one defender for each hut that could deflect balls and not be out. and the 4 corner dodgeball. dead zone becomes a free zone and can get deadzone prisoners from other teams added to their team. People left in the dead zone go back to their own team unless their team is dead too then they can be saved by anyone.

Capture the flag
can be 2 teams or more. Have a prison for people that are tagged. Can add dodgeballs as well to throw to prisoners to catch to get back in or to hit someone trying to steal a flag - if your team has no more flags left, you get absorbed into the team that stole your last flag. Go until one team has all flags
4 teams in 4 corners and each team has a safe zone to be in and guard their flags which is inside their zone and once another team gets on to the flags they are in a safe zone. Outside everyone’s zones is Free play. If you are tagged you sit and have to give up your flag to the person that tagged you and wait to be saved. Once your teammate saves you, you walk back safely to your territory to play again. If a whole team is gone, they have to crab walk and high five one another to get back in. No flags, they are still in to steal other flags.
or Pirates of the Caribbean (like capture the Flag)
Two teams - adventurers can go collect flags and bring them back- if they are tagged by the pirates, they become zombies.
