Writing Bootcamp

We celebrated our hard work in writing bootcamp with a celebratory ceremony!

Learning with our Binoculars

We did many different safari hunts through the day! We went on a vowel hunt, book hunt, and used binoculars to edit our Secret Sergeant writings! We also fixed up some wounded soliders... I mean sentences. ;)

What's Next?

Reading: We are beginning our integrated reading and social studies unit this month! We will be reading about our community, city government, and the services our community provides. In social studies, we will do the hands on part of our community lessons!

Writing: We have finished writing bootcamp. Now we start our small moments unit where we pick an event in our lives and retell it with details. 

Math: We are finishing up our place value this week. We will do MONSTER WEEK this month and then end October with building math fact fluency!

Social Studies: We just finished up our 7 habits of happy kids unit. Students will get to practice these habits all month long with their October goals! We are starting our Community Unit next week!
