Hi, my name is Paula Florey. I am the school counselor for Florence School District. I do weekly guidance lessons in grades Pk-5. I will be meeting with 6-8 during their Life Skills, Computers, Careers or STEM classes throughout the year. I do occasional guidance lessons in the high school grades based on career/college/testing information. I also do individual (check in) counseling with students at the request of parent(s) or the student or based on referrals from school staff. 

I am in my 33rd year in the education field (4 as a classroom teacher, 19 as a HS school counselor/academic dean, 9 as an elementary or middle school/high school principal). I have also coached basketball, track, volleyball and softball at many different levels. 

I am married to John and we have 4 children and 3 grandkids.
