The ACT test has undergone some major changes starting with this fall testing sessions.
Students now will only take English, Reading and Math as part of the standard testing session. Science and Writing tests are optional tests that students can choose to take. If you are going into a science related field you might want to take the science test. It is best to ask the colleges/universities that you are considering to see what they recommend.
Each test is shorter (less questions) and their are 4 answer choice instead of 5.
Students can choose to take the test online or paper/pencil.
ALL JUNIORS will take the ACT test this year as the state assessment. They will be taking this test in school. We are required to give all parts of the test and using the online format. These scores can be used for admission and scholarships.
