Hello! I am Martha Aguirre. I will be student teaching in Mr. Lind's second grade classroom this fall. I grew up in a small town called Madison, South Dakota. In Madison, I spent much of my time volunteering at the elementary school while I was in high school. That is where I realized I wanted to become a teacher.

Besides being a student at USD, I have also spent some time working at a restaurant in town and at the university’s art gallery. My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and traveling.

Overall, I’m looking forward to beginning my student teaching experience here in Vermillion. This experience will be my final step from graduating with a degree in Elementary Education and Spanish.
