Chapter 1
The beginning
BY Charlie Kepley
Garry’s day started out like any other when he suddenly smelled smoke. Garry quickly ran to find out what was causing it. It was rats moving quickly from Falls Village to Possum Town (where Garry lives). Garry ran to gather the women and the children to evacuate the town. Garry and the men stayed to defend their village from the billions of rats on their way. The snakes’ plan was to hide and surround the rats as they started to pillage.
Sadly most things don't go your way and this was especially true for the snakes. The rats spotted the snakes and began the attack. It was a bloodbath the rats came in hoard after hoard and the snakes would only be able to slay around 1000 rats (although it would be uncountable given the situation of the snakes) before the rats overran the snakes. Only three snakes were able to escape the oncoming rats. Garry, Sam, and Mike. As they retreated they could hear the screams of pain as the rats killed the wounded snakes. Garry, Sam, and Mike reunited with the women and children as they entered the castle.

We Meet Again

As I stride off the airliner, I stop and close my eyes, and respire. Oh, how have I yearned to be in my native land? The passenger after me complains about how I have not moved. I open my eyes and take a look around. Wow, Berlin has altered. I saw people in blazing neon green vests with bright orange glow sticks. Luggage cars are driving around. Structures that reach the sky with only windows going up the flanks. As I descend the staircase, I keep looking at the airport, which is a very bland but impressive building. I glide down the steps to the ground.
I get down the stairs to the ground, and I see my best friend from preadolescence, still here after all this time. It is like a fantasy Ingrid, standing there as if nothing occurred to her or me. Like we are still youthful, speaking and giggling like nothing was shifting on
We dashed to each other and embraced one another. I squeezed her as if we would never see each other again. We finally let go after a short period. "Hey, haven't visited you in a while," I chuckled.
" I know ever since you departed with Claus. I have missed you dearly, it has been formidable without you!" admitted Ingrid
" All the twilights spent without have been formidable for me too! Claus and I have been prominent but we missed Germany dearly. We craved to be back in our native land but we were terrified. We knew Hitler was gone but we were still scared but we should have come back" I look around to see people gaping at us, pecking at me " Claus yearned for his family and friends. I yearned too. He and I have great-grandchildren now and would love for them to arrive in our homeland." I confided. Everything was steadfast and I meant it. Ingrid smiled at me a smile that could have created Hollywood all those years earlier.
"Let us move inside, it's freezing!" decided Esther. We linked arms just as we had all those years ago. We darted inside, optimistic as could be. I glanced at her and she glanced at me. We both knew this looked like the back of our hand.

Chapter One (1)
We were playing “Never Have I Ever” in my living room. I had invited some friends over for a sleepover, y’know, like “normal people'' would. Except, add some “SpIcE”, and by that I mean Jincxes. No, not like “Oh, I CaN fLy!” no, like reading 5 minutes into the future, seeing how people die and or knowing when you die, and the possibility of having a gene mutation, an example would be your father has teleportation, and your mother has the ability to levitate, and control objects, you’re possible Jincx would be object teleportation, or Object Manipulation. You would never really know! Which was one of the things most people enjoyed finding out. Jincxes would normally start showing a sign of development around the age of five, but some people could start early, which was not common, but not rare, or you could start late. One of the people I know didn’t get their Jincx until seven years old! My Jincx? Never used it, I just think that Jincxes are just a thing, not you as a being. Back to Never Have I Ever, It was Jack’s turn.
“Lonni, never have you ever used your Jincx?”
