Welcome to 5th Grade Band!

At Hill City we are very fortunate to be able to offer a chance for all 5th graders to try out band. Some students find that while they didn't think they would like band that have a great time. Some use band and music as an amazing outlet for creativity and out of the box thinking. Some find that the social aspect helps them find and maintain life long friends. We do have a few that decide band isn't for them which is also alright. We want them to have this opportunity to at least try out an instrument.

Parents, if you need to acquire an instrument for your child we have some resources to do so on the Get and Instrument page. We do have a limited number of school owned instrument for students with need. Please reach out to Mr. Safrit if you need help figuring out how to get an instrument for your child.
