The AFJROTC program isn't just a regular elective class; it is a premier leadership and team-building experience program located in Leander High School. We proudly host cadets from all Leander ISD campuses, such as Glenn, Cedar Park, Rouse, Vista Ridge, and Vandegrift High Schools.

The AFJROTC program is not an obligation into the Air Force, or into any military enlistment. Rather, this program will teach you valuable skills needed to become a better person, develop extensive leadership skills, and build lifelong skill sets that will help you beyond high school. 

Numerous cadets benefit from being in this program. There have been cadets who have gotten into Ivy Leagues, Flight academies, and USAFA. Many have also earned scholarships to various colleges from the leadership and achievements earned in AFJROTC.

Cadets in AFJROTC also get to participate in events such as the annual car show, a semester CIA trip, and even the summer Hawaii trip. All opportunities offered in AFJROTC are designed to showcase education, experience, and real-life skills that you learn in the program throughout the years in AFJROTC.
