WHO WE ARE 

We are a FTC team from Vandegrift High School that are dedicated to STEM and creating opportunities for others in the community. Our purpose is to inspire and uphold the core values of FIRST while remaining gracious professionals.

MISSION STATEMENT

“Shoot for the Stars, the Possibilities are Infinite,” reflects our mission of inspiring ourselves & our community to recognize all that can be achieved through STEM.

Ouroboros achieves this by embedding the Core Values of FIRST into our CENTER STAGE  journey! We DISCOVER new skills by engaging in the STEM community, we continuously INNOVATE our hardware and software, we IMPACT our local communities through outreach, we INCLUDE every member and their skills through TEAMWORK, and lastly, we remember to have FUN every step of the way!

HARDWARE GOALS

Our goal this season is to build a high quality, effective, and consistent robot that shows continuous growth in performance. Apart from our technical aspects, we want to make sure this season is a journey and we grow as a team and as individuals!

SOFTWARE GOALS

Our goal this season is to build a sustainable subteam that is self reliant and efficient. We also want to code an auto that allows the robot to score cycles and deposit the preloaded pixels into the designated slots using vision.

MARKETING GOALS

Our goal this season is STEM advocacy. We want to create more opportunities for underrepresented groups in the STEM field so that everyone has the chance to learn! By doing this we'll create an equal and fair playing field for everyone to grow!
