About me: I love the outdoors and my family. When I am feeling down or overwhelmed, I make sure to get outside and reconnect with nature or hang out with my kids and husband. Life can be difficult but with the right supports, we can persevere and overcome.

About me: Born and raised in Toronto, I’m first generation Canadian. I have lived at worked with First Nations children, and youth in Prince George British Columbia and in Northern Quebec in a Cree community along the James Bay. I enjoy watching movies, walking, exploring my surroundings and reading. Looking forward to working with SNHS staff and a connecting with students!

About me: I am originally from Sioux Lookout and have lived out in Alberta and British Columbia for the past 10 years. I loved hiking and exploring the mountains while I was out West. I am excited to be living back home again as Sioux Lookout offers many wonderful things to do year round! Fishing is my favourite pastime. I am looking forward to meeting the students and staff at Sioux North High School.

Northwestern Health Unit sexual health clinics provide free, confidential sexual health counseling, support and services.
Free barrier methods available such as condoms for prevention of STIs & pregnancy.

Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
Learn about how STIs are spread, and the different types of infection.
Confidential sexual health testing & treatment
Sexually transmitted infection - we provide testing, treatment and follow-up for STIs like chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis.
Blood-borne infections - testing and follow-up are provided for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis and HIV. (NWHU site only)
Pregnancy - testing, referrals and counselling are available.
