Pōki’i Buddies - Freshman Mentoring Program
Any interested freshmen may participate in this program to connect with an upperclassman student who can assist them in their transition into high school. Freshmen “mentees” meet regularly with upperclassmen “mentors” on campus to discuss topics of interest and provide peer support. For more information, please contact Mr. Vicente or student coordinator Kala
Any Freshman Academy student who needs a device to use at home for their school work may apply to borrow a Chromebook from the Freshman Academy. There is a Chromebook Lending Application and Agreement form that must be completed and submitted to Mrs. Igawa in C-103. There are a limited number of Chromebooks available and they will be distributed in the order of submission of the completed form.
Freshmen are encouraged to take advantage of free tutoring, computer lab access, supplies, and printing services in rooms Q-103 and Q-104 before, during, and after school hours. Use this link to learn more about the Resource Room.
