Technical drawing is done through both hand sketching and the Autodesk AutoCAD software. Students learn to create physical models through usage of 3D printing (both plastic and liquid resin), 3D scanning, and laser engraving. Students also gain knowledge and heavy usage of the building information modeling (BIM) software Autodesk Revit, the new common tool in the architecture industry.

In the Residential & Commercial Construction Program of Study, students are introduced to common tools and materials used in the many construction fields including: framing, drywall, cabinet making, plumbing, electrical, and roofing. Students will work with tools, applying math skills, and learning basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills.
