The NFL season has come to an end. Many teams were expected to make the NFL playoffs and even reach the Super Bowl. Last year's Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles went down to the wire with the Chiefs winning it all. The Chiefs were in the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers the matchup was anticipated to be stellar since the Chiefs have one of the top offenses in the league while the 49ers have one of the top defenses in the league. As it was with the Cheifs winning 25-22 off a field goal to win the Superbowl. The Chiefs have ended their season with back-to-back championships while the 49ers still look for their first one since 1995.

Looking back before the Super Bowl matchup, people had predictions on who would be in the Super Bowl along with the most overrated and underrated teams this year. Awards for the Super Bowl were predicted too along with the halftime performances.

Ka’imi is a student at Konawaena High School who enjoys the NFL and plays football himself. When Ka’imi roots for a team he “doesn't have a favorite team, it's just whoever wins, and who has better work ethic and players.” Ka’imi thought the two opposite teams would be in the Super Bowl saying “It's gonna be the Lions with the Ravens” which reflecting now it wasn't happening. He did predict the Super Bowl MVP to be Patrick Mahomes and the Halftime performer to be Usher.

Phil Fisher is an NFL connoisseur, when asked about what were overrated NFL teams in the playoffs this year he said “ I wanna talk about the teams that had a chance but are nowhere close to the Superbowl championship. The Dallas Cowboys are way overrated which was shown true at the beginning of the season since they were considered a contender. The Jacksonville Jaguars are another team that was overrated in the season, a disappointment, and not close to the playoffs either.” Then some underrated teams this year he said “Were the Detroit Lions, nobody thought at the beginning of the season that they would come through with the way they have. Along with the Las Vegas Raiders they started the season being underrated too they have done well but they didn't make the playoffs. Also, the Chicago Bears and the LA Rams were good teams but didn't make the cut.”

The season came to an end and when looking back on the season it has been a suspenseful one with a lot of surprises in the regular season and the playoffs from teams that weren't contenders and ones that could but fell short of the expectation. The conclusion to the season is that Patrick Mahomes and his Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl champions once again.
