When students with disabilities have access to and the supports needed to thrive in high-quality CTE programs, there is increased success in post-secondary outcomes. Research shows that, for students with disabilities, participation in CTE courses has been tied to a positive impact on wages, post-school outcomes, and improved graduation and employment rates. CTE coordinators can assist our Special Education teachers in providing the appropriate career pathways and work-based learning opportunities for students with disablities.
