Nanakuli High and Intermediate School (NHIS) Counseling Team provides a comprehensive, data-driven, multi-tiered system of support to all students to address individual and school wide student needs based on data. Our counseling program advocates and strives to ensure that all students have equity regardless of race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, etc. Through participation in high quality counselor interventions and activities, our students have access to opportunities to help them to develop essential attitudes, knowledge and skills to become students who are resilient, self-advocating, academically, emotionally and socially successful. By collaborating and working together with all students and stakeholders, our students through personal and professional growth will believe in themselves and their ability to achieve their post high school goals and dreams.
