Research--find out criteria and constraints

Imagine--Brainstorm solutions, anything goes here

Plan--select your approach, sketch design

Create--Prototype

Test--see what works and what needs improvement

Improve--tweak the design

Repeat

Days 2-9

Student learned the basics of:

-drive trains

-effectors

-gear ratio

-game strategy

-coding

-driving

They worked in groups to plan their robots form based on the functions they wanted them to perform. Teams came to consensus on game strategy, robot design, and attended classes each morning to learn new concepts of building and programming. They also documented the entire process on their websites.
