At times, easily accessible "tools" may be utilized for homework such as beans, grains of rice, coins, etc.
Posting a daily schedule may help your child structure their day.
Your child is expected to read for 20 minutes daily. (Yes, even on weekends). This could be reading to themselves, or to someone else. This can include books, educational magazines, articles online, and iReady reading minutes.
Items not completed during class time will be sent home to be completed promptly and turned in the next school day.
Other homework may be assigned periodically, with notice to be completed in a timely manner.
I have a relaxed homework policy. If something comes up, or your child has had a busy day, I understand that. However, school work should be completed as promptly as possible.
Frequently unfinished homework and classwork may impact your child's GLO marks as well as their progress in achieving the learning goals. Thank you for your at-home support!

A lead room parent is needed to serve as a point person between room 26 and the APT.
We are looking for parents who are willing to log on to help students boost their math fact fluency. This includes multiplication, addition, subtraction, and division. If interested, please let Miss Evans know your availability.
Would you like to help put together things needed for the classroom? This may require cutting and gluing. Teacher will send home materials and an example. Your child can bring the completed project back to school.
This may also look like putting together digital resources such as scanning textbooks or transferring worksheets to a google document.
We are hoping to have at least 2 parents per Field Trip. Parent supervision includes monitoring a group of students and helping students cross the street when needed. You would be paired with your child on the bus.
