Frequently Asked Questions

School begins at 7:45 a.m.  The tardy bell rings at 7:50 a.m.   After 8:00 a.m., students should stop at the office to get a tardy pass before continuing on to class.

School ends at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and at 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday.

Students not catching the bus or attending A+ should be picked up promptly or walk home immediately after school.

The parking lot is divided into three lanes:  the lane on the right is for drop off/pick up only (no parking), the middle lane is a through lane, and the left lane is for double-parking behind staff cars and is meant for those parking only 15 minutes or less.  If you plan to stay longer than 15 minutes, please park in a stall, or park along Leihōkū Street fronting the school.  Please do not park on the shoulder on Lualualei Homestead Road.

Please call the office at (808) 305-7100 in the morning, letting them know your student's name, grade, teacher, homeroom number, and reason for absence.

Call the office at (808) 305-7100 ahead of time if you need to take your student(s) out of school before the end of the day.  Report to the office with your ID to sign your student(s) out.  Please do not go straight to the classrooms to get your student(s).

Snacks or cupcakes need to be store-bought and not homemade.  We would appreciate your understanding in limiting snacks that contain nuts.

Parents are not allowed to deliver directly to the classroom.  Please drop off at the office.  Also, we ask that there is no cupcake delivery before 12:30 pm as it interferes with our lunch service.  Mahalo!
