Choosing core subject courses, academy elective course and an elective course to be in your schedule is a very important task.
These choices will determine the next phase in your journey and the experiences you'll have for your high school career.
Follow the steps below to complete your course registration for 10th Grade.
rESEARCH
Determining your classes starts with taking a look at the information provided in the Kaua`i High School Course Registration Booklet . You will find information about courses, programs and requirements to take particular courses at Kaua`i High School.
Taking a look at the Upper Academy Programs of Study below can also be a great guide in determining what Academy course you would like to pursue or continue.

Use this Registration Planning Doc for your grade level to help you in determining what you will sign up for when completing your
Kaua`i High School Course Registration Form.
SELECT
You'll complete the Kaua`i High School Course Registration for Grade 10 form to register for your classes.
Should you need to make different choices at a later time, you can simply submit another form. The most recent form submission will determine your main selections of courses.
OTHER COURSE REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT ITEMS & INFORMATION
TAKING AN ADVANCED PLACEMENT COURSE? 🙋🏽♀️
When selecting an Advanced Placement (AP) course as one of your options, you are required to do the following to remain registered for that AP course @ Kaua`i High;
Complete an AP Course Registration Commitment Agreement Form and turn it into ANY AP teacher listed on the form in order to remain registered for that course.
All AP forms are due to an AP Teacher by
JANUARY 22ND, 2026.
Agreement Forms are due ON TIME; no Late forms will be collected
Attend or view an AP Teachers' Information and commitment agreement meeting/video.
There will be an attendance form that needs to be filled out to confirm attendance by the applicant
Failure to do so could result in being dropped from AP and be placed in a regular level course, where applicable.

TAKING AN EARLY COLLEGE COURSE? 🙋🏽♀️
ONLY EC COURSE AVAILABLE TO 10TH GRADERS IS

When selecting a course indicated as needing EC-Agreement as one of your options, you are required to do the following to remain registered for that Early College course @ Kaua`i High;
Complete an Early College Student and Parent Agreement Form and turn it into the EC coordinator, Mr. Benjamin Kershner.
