For NATIONAL Testing SAT and ACT Information (11th and 12th graders):

All National SAT and ACT testing are subject to change.  Please check the SAT and ACT websites for updated information and date changes!

Students are encouraged during their JUNIOR year to begin taking the SAT and/or the ACT for college admissions. Seniors who have NOT STARTED taking the SAT and/or ACT should register for the early Fall tests.Most colleges and universities accept EITHER the SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT with writing.  

Only SOME colleges and universities require the SAT Subject test(s). Check with each university individually.

When registering for the SAT or ACT, you can send up to four scores for free to colleges or universities. Be sure to select the four choices at the time of registration.  Student must UPLOAD a headshot photo at the time of registration.  No shades or hats, head shot only facing directly at the camera.

Students may register ONLINE with a credit card.  Remember... Kalāheo school code is 120143.

Fee waivers are available to juniors and seniors who are eligible for free/reduced lunch. Remember that you MUST reapply for free/reduced lunch each school year. Apply at: ezmealapp.com. Verification is required to obtain a waiver. See Ms. Inouye in H-203 if you have any questions or need a waiver PRIOR to registering for the SAT and/or ACT.
