Student Programs

The Hawaii Department of Education focuses on supporting elementary students (K-6) primarily through the After-School Plus (A+) Program. The A+ Program offers affordable, supervised care for children of working parents, providing homework time, enrichment, and physical activities after school hours. Individual schools also offer various Extracurricular Activities and local Student Leadership opportunities.
