Teachers Toolbox Adapted PE

Believe in You® is an episodic series designed to educate students and staff about the incredible power of believing in yourself, despite the challenges and trials that life may present. Hosted by Kevin Atlas and starring personalities from around the country who have overcome personal challenges to accomplish the extraordinary.
Videos can be viewed in class as a group, or on any mobile device. Each of the 9 episodes per season lasts for eight to eleven minutes, and is accompanied by lesson plans and activity guides to take the conversation further and spark critical thinking.
Tips for Online Teaching
Keep the delivery of the lesson short (3-5 min); it can be done right then or later in the day.
Physical Activity can be broken up into six 10 min lessons to get their 60 min of physical activity a day.
Give them motivating activities.
Although there are beautiful videos posted on the web, your students would love to see YOU! Every now and then post a short video of you checking in with them and model an activity.
Have your students share pictures and/or videos of themselves and post so peers can see each other.
Share bloopers with your students of you trying to make videos for them. They'll LOVE it!
Every morning at 8 a.m., we’ll be sharing an activity challenge to share with students at home! Challenge yourself or your students and upload a video to social media or PE Universe using the hashtag #ActiveHomeChallenge!
