You must request one of the following for each day you are requesting UPLINK Enrichment. It is a first come, first serve basis on when completed applications and registrations are turned in. There is limited space per Enrichment. Most Enrichments with limited space can only be offered to each student one day of the week.
You will be assigned and notified the Enrichment to attend when given a printed Official UPLINK Schedule in Quarter 2 by your Advisory Teacher.
If your UPLINK application is processed after October 13, 2025, your printed Official UPLINK Schedule will be in your Advisory Teacher’s box within 72 hours of completing the application and registration.

Monday Enrichments
ADVANCED MEDIA Enrichment - is a hands-on, project-based course where students produce a variety of film projects for EMMS and Tiger TV, while also maintaining and operating the engineering studio. Prerequisite: Positive coachable attitude and able to work in teams. Building on skills from the prerequisite EMMS CTE Wheel Class or previous media coursework, students will take on advanced roles in production, editing, and studio management. Enrollment requires an application, EMMS CTE Wheel Resume, and an interview.
BASIC HAND SEWING Enrichment - Basic Hand sewing techniques that can be used to make repair or for crafting.
BASKETBALL Enrichment - Basketball UPLINK provides a fun and safe environment for students to practice and improve their skills! We will be working on dribbling, passing and shooting and will have scrimmages as well! Sneakers and athletic clothing are REQUIRED! No jeans, slippers or crocs allowed! BLUE ZONE WALKING Enrichment - The focus is to promote overall health and well-being through increased physical activity. The goal is to reach and/or surpass 10,000 steps a day. Walking activities would also include social conversations, step challenges, and mental activities while walking. If possible, I would like to purchase pedometers to help the students keep track of their steps. HCAMP Certification is Required.
BOOK Enrichment - Reading books of specific Genres or Authors, engaging in discussions about the book/plot, analyzing, and book reviews. The goal is to foster a love for reading and expand reading repertoire.
CHESS Enrichment - Have fun and develop your strategic thinking skills playing one of the world's oldest games!
CERAMIC Enrichment - Come work with Clay! Ceramics is a fun, challenging way to express yourself and create cool, usable things. It can also be a medium for creating interesting art works, such as sculptures and forms. No experience needed! But if you have experience, welcome!

We will be learning and practicing skills to safely pilot and guide drones through obstacle courses or challenges, preparing for competition. *Students who participated in tryouts will have priority for the slots available, as there is a limited amount of flight equipment.

SEA Perch Enrichment - Dive into the world of robotics with our SEA Perch Underwater Robotics enrichment! Get ready to build, test, and pilot your very own underwater robot. This class is your ultimate training ground for the state and national competitions, where you'll put your engineering skills to the test. You'll work with a team to assemble a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) and learn the fundamentals of underwater navigation, propulsion, and electronics. Whether you're a returning seasoned builder or new to the world of robotics, this is your chance to make a splash and compete against the best!
SERVICE Enrichment - Do you like to help people at Ewa Makai and in the community? Do you enjoy planning activities or projects? The School and Community Service Learning Enrichment club will empower you as students to make a positive impact on our school and community through various service projects. The club's students will work together to plan and carry out service activities ranging from school beautification and peer support to community outreach efforts like food drives, clean-ups, and assistance at animal shelters or with elderly neighbors. The club fosters a culture of compassion and civic responsibility, developing leadership skills while addressing community needs through art projects, gardening, cleaning initiatives, and direct assistance to those in need. The students will get to choose what services will benefit the school and community the most and create the biggest difference in the lives of others.

THEATER GAMES + MUSICAL APPRECIATION Enrichment - Improv is a form of theatre, typically comedic, that is improvised/unplanned. In this enrichment, students will learn about improv, play theater games, and watch/talk about musicals.
